There was another four massive events as part of the new and improved Australian Darts Association tour in 2026, with Pines Darts Club hosting across the weekend of tungsten action.
The usual suspects were dominant on the oche once again, as Raymond Smith and Brody Klinge continued their brilliance into the third leg of the ADA season.
Josh from The 9-Dart Podcast is on hand to break down all the action from Sandgate.
EVENT 9 WINNER: BRODY KLINGE
Klinge was in imperious form from the outset in the first event across the weekend, firstly knocking off Josh Kime with a whitewash victory while averaging in excess of 92 - completed by a clinical 13-dart leg. The AUS Darts Masters contestant then repeated the feat in the last 16 with another commanding 6-0 victory.
Matt Mullen pushed Klinge hard in the quarter-finals, before Klinge was able to pull through 6-4. The final matched him against close friend and ANZ Premier League rival Raymond Smith in what proved another thoroughly compelling contest. With the match very evenly poised, Klinge delivered when it mattered most - pinning a 15-dart leg in the deciding leg, averaging 92 throughout - claiming the first title of the weekend and pocketing $1,600.
Michael Bajowski and Darren Penhall also caught the eye, with both men reaching the semi-finals.

EVENT 10 WINNER: BRODY KLINGE
Klinge returned the oche the following morning and picked up precisely where he left off. He opened with a ruthless 6-0 demolition of Roger Gibbs - averaging a superb 99.10 and closing the match with a 14-dart finish. He then navigated his way through a hard-fought 6-4 victory over a gallant Stuart Coburn in the last 16. ANZ Premier League contender Joe Comito was next to fall by the same scoreline, with a breath-taking 12-dart leg among the highlights of the fixture.
Tim Pusey pushed Brody in the semi-finals before Klinge eventually prevailed 6-4, setting up yet another mouth-watering final against Raymond Smith. The pair produced another enthralling contest, with Klinge ultimately triumphing 6-4 - averaging just over 97 and sealing the title in style with a 12-dart leg to put the final nail in the coffin.
Tim Pusey and Brandon Weening both enjoyed solid runs to the semi-finals, each earning $400 on the Order of Merit.
EVENT 11 WINNER: RAYMOND SMITH
Smith's third event of the weekend began unconvincingly for his own standards - a scrappy opener against David Hampshire with just a 78 average - but he swiftly recalibrated. A composed 6-3 victory in his next match, averaging 90, signalled his return to form before his quarter-final clash with Harley Kemp appeared to be the catalyst for something special.
The Series 2 MODUS Super Series Champion produced an unbelievable 11-dart leg to round off a dominant 6-1 victory, then stepped up another gear in the semi-finals — averaging an impressive 97 in a commanding 6-3 win over Jeremy Fagg.
For the third time across the weekend, Klinge stood in his way in the final - and for the third time, the pair served up another spectacle to the fans watching live and online. In a thrilling 6-5 decider, it was Smith who held his nerve, landing a huge 15-dart leg and to seal a much deserved title.
Jeremy Fagg backed up his strong Event 10 showing with yet another semi-final appearance, while Mal Cuming also battled his way into the last four.

EVENT 12 WINNER: RAYMOND SMITH
The final event of the weekend in set-play also belonged to Smith. An unconvincing opener against Alexander David briefly threatened to derail him, however a composed 2-0 set victory over Seamus Lynch steadied the ship - and he was largely imperious from that point forward. Back-to-back 12-dart legs lit up a quarter-final victory over a stubborn Mal Cuming, before Smith edged past Jeremy Fagg in another high-quality semi-final, prevailing 2-1 in a contest that did justice to both men.
Astonishingly, the final produced yet another Klinge-Smith showdown - the fourth time the pair had contested a final across the weekend alone. True to form, it went the distance, with Klinge pushing Smith to the final leg before a superb 13-dart finish proved just enough to seal the match and complete a superb weekend's work for the ANZ PL finalist.
David McCullough impressed greatly on his run to the semi-finals, while Jeremy Fagg rounded off a great weekend with three consecutive semi-final appearances.
