Melbourne vs Richmond

Mark Woods- Melbourne starting to find their feet this season, Richmond brave effort. Gawn is Good.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Richmond put up a great fight in the first half but clearly got tired as the game went on as Melbourne ran out convincingly.

Collingwood vs Essendon

Mark Woods- Started like it would be a one sided game, Essendon fought back well, Collingwood too strong, showing they are a team to beat this year if you want to win the flag.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Essendon were brave but Collingwood are a bit stronger than them at the minute. Sidebottom a very deserving ANZAC Medalist.

Fremantle vs Adelaide

Mark Woods- Fremantle get the four points at home, Adelaide BKIBF.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Fremantle used the home ground advantage very well in this game.

St Kilda vs Brisbane Lions

Mark Woods- St Kilda is one thing in my life that I can count on to disappoint me, Brisbane made us pay for every mistake we made.  Lions must do this to every team that is not considered a finals contender.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Brisbane are better than St Kilda right now, in case there was any doubt.

Port Adelaide vs North Melbourne

Mark Woods- This was a surprise, Port did what they did against Hawthorn, start strong and then take the foot off the neck.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- North Melbourne put up a great fight but conceding seven goals in the first quarter meant it was a bridge too far.

GWS vs Western Bulldogs

Mark Woods- Western Bulldogs are making teams pay for any mistakes made.  GWS can’t afford to do that weekly.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Giants were made to pay for costly errors as the Bulldogs continue to build.

Gold Coast vs Sydney

Mark Woods- Gold Coast Fort stands true again.  Sydney is not the same after last September.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Gold Coast showed that they are a team they can dominate when they flick the switch.

Carlton vs Geelong

Mark Woods- Carlton have been a different team in the last few weeks, some will say they had only beat West Coast and North Melbourne BUT now with Geelong on that ledger, they have confidence.  From 0-4 to 3-4, with the next four games before the bye all winnable, it would be very interesting if they are 7-4 going into the rest week.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- A rare game where Carlton brought great intensity and dominated in the middle. If they do that more often they might be a good team. Geelong really missed Miers.

Hawthorn vs West Coast

Mark Woods- Hawthorn did what they had to do, nothing special, just getting the four points.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Hawthorn did more than enough to get past West Coast.
