Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood

Mark Woods- Collingwood did well to neutralise the Lions.  Emotions were on display.  

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- A very strong performance throughout from Collingwood.

North Melbourne vs Carlton

Mark Woods- Is this the 2025 Carlton, time will tell.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Are Carlton back? Given they play North and Eagles twice more this season, there going to need more than just wins to convince us.

West Coast vs Essendon

Mark Woods- Don’t sleep on West Coast, otherwise they will make you pay.  Essendon got away with this one.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- A brave fight from West Coast, could cause problems to teams throughout this season.

Melbourne vs Fremantle

Mark Woods- I was wrong.  Did not watch the game but the pressure is not off Melbourne and Simon Goodwin.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Goodwin fine for now, effort much better from Melbourne and what is going on with Freo?

Adelaide vs GWS

Mark Woods- Did not watch, low scoring.  Giants kicked themselves out with 4.10, BKIBF.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Crows got the jumps and held on. Like the Giants game against Hawthorn the conditions robbed us of a better match between two well-matched sides.

Richmond vs Gold Coast

Mark Woods- I was wrong.  Gold Coast suffering the Dimma Docklands Curse.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Gold Coast still are not as strong away from home as Hardwick continues to dislike Docklands.

Sydney vs Port Adelaide

Mark Woods- Port have shown the last two weeks who they can be BUT is that who they are?

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- If Port Adelaide start matches well like they have the last couple of weeks, they can still yet make finals.

Western Bulldogs vs St Kilda

Mark Woods- Saints once again shown what it takes to be finals contenders.  Bulldogs showing their form again this season.

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Bulldogs a step ahead of the Saints at the moment. Thank goodness Sam Darcy hasn’t done his ACL.

Geelong vs Hawthorn

Mark Woods- Hawks, 2.6 first quarter… BKIBF.  HokBall dead?

Lorenzo Di-Mauro Hayes- Fun game despite some terrible kicking. A strong game throughout for Geelong. A great game from Smith, Holmes, Mannagh, Atkins and Dangerfield, in particular. Hawthorn’s mistakes were costly.
