Queensland have claimed the 2025 State of Origin series 2–1 with a clinical 24–12 win in the decider at Accor Stadium, silencing Sydney and reminding everyone that Origin lives and breathes in MAROON.

Game 1 – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Hostile crowd? Check.

Origin opener at fortress Suncorp? Check.

But it was NSW who brought the fire.

Led by a rampaging pack, the Blues struck first, winning 18–6 in enemy territory.

Queensland looked flat.

NSW looked focused.

It looked to be a long series for Queensland.

Game 2 – Optus Stadium, Perth

Must-win.

Neutral turf.

And Queensland delivered.

They roared out to a 26–6 lead, the likes of Dearden, Walsh, Nanai, all electric.

But NSW wouldn’t go away.

They came storming back with three late tries to close it to 26–24.Nervy finish.

But Queensland held firm.

Series tied.

Decider locked in.

Game 3 – Accor Stadium, Sydney

With everything on the line, Queensland produced the Origin performance.

Coates delivered the first try.

Dearden grabbed two tries.

Grant snuck over.

Holmes added the extras.

And most importantly, the Maroons didn’t blink.

Up 20–0 at the break, they took the air out of the Blues and never let it back in.

NSW found late tries through Crichton and To’o, but it was done.

Buried.

Queensland too good, too tough, too together.

Final score: Queensland 24 def. NSW 12

Series: Queensland wins 2–1

CAPTAIN MUNSTER - HEART ON FULL DISPLAY

Cameron Munster led this team through grief, pressure, and pure Origin chaos.

Just days after the sudden passing of his father, he fronted up and played like a man possessed.

There’s tough, and then there’s Origin tough.

Munster didn’t just wear the armband, he owned it.

A TEAM BUILT FOR MOMENTS

Billy Slater’s boys don’t wait for things to happen, they make it happen.

Dearden has arrived.

Walsh matured.

The forward pack laid a platform you could build a house on.

Queensland's next wave? Already here.

Already winning.

DEARDEN DELIVERS

Tom Dearden only played in two games yet his efforts gave him Man Of The Match honours in game 3 and more importantly Man Of The Series.

THE VERDICT

Queensland didn’t just win the 2025 Origin series, they took it.

After dropping Game 1, they fought back, found belief, and finished it on the biggest stage.

One team talked legacy.

One team built it.

Queensland 2–1. Shield secured.

And just like that…

Origin belongs to Queensland.

Again.
